Jenel Faye Sonthonax is a wife, mother, visionary entrepreneur, and the unapologetic voice behind The Sister Gap, a movement created to help women close the distance between who they are and the sisterhood, love, and connection they’ve been longing for. Her story is one of discipline, discovery, and turning personal growth into a global mission.

Straight out of high school, Jenel joined the United States Navy, wearing a uniform before she even had the chance to figure out who she was without one. The military gave her structure, leadership, resilience, a husband she deeply loves, and her first child. But it also revealed how easy it is to hide behind roles and forget to look inward. When the uniform came off, Jenel realized she needed to rediscover the woman in the mirror. That realization became the starting point of her journey back to herself.

Through that process of peeling back the layers and choosing alignment over expectation, Jenel began to uncover her truth. She discovered the power of real conversation, authentic connection, and spaces where women can laugh, heal, and grow together. Out of that journey came The Sister Gap a card game, a community, and now a movement designed to spark meaningful dialogue and redefine what girls night looks like.

At just 25 years old, Jenel has expanded far beyond the game. She is the cofounder of Chasing Perfection, a women’s community built on faith, growth, and accountability. She is preparing to launch her own podcast to amplify raw conversations that inspire healing and transformation. And as a leader within Farmasi, she mentors women on how to turn side hustles into streams of income, creating freedom and building legacy for their families.

What sets Jenel apart is her authenticity. She is not afraid to speak the truth with love and boldness. She embodies what it means to be both strong and vulnerable, disciplined and compassionate, playful and powerful. Whether she is hosting conversations, leading communities, or creating content, her mission is the same: to help women see themselves, love themselves, and rise together.

For Jenel, this is not just about business. It is not just about building brands. It is about building movements, raising the standard of sisterhood, and creating spaces where women can show up as their whole selves.
